This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for entry-level HR professionals!
Primary responsibilities:
- Act as the on-site HR touchstone for all in-store employees
- Create and maintain complete and confidential files on each employee. Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as recruitment, training, grievances, injuries and classifications.
- Conduct in store new hire orientation/onboarding program collecting/ preparing all new hire documents/coordinate any in-store electronic set up, following established company procedures.
- Ensure on a weekly basis all employee information is accurate and up to date in HRIS system
- Conduct insurance benefits bill audit and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Handle and traffic all HR related issues that arise in the store
- Support and work in close partnership with GM, store leadership and HRBP to be a credible activist for all store-based employee programs
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, and standards
- Support and partner effectively with HRBP and HR specialist groups i.e.: Learning & Development, Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll to ensure employee inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner
- Ability to pull reports and provide context related to people metrics i.e.: turnover reports
- Support in store candidate visits and follow-up with hiring managers and recruiters on a timely basis
- Responsible for timely communication to necessary partners of all new hire offers, employee off-boarding, leaves (FMLA) and/or any other significant employee actions
- Responsible for initiating and tracking background checks and drug screenings to ensure a tighter turnaround.
- Support all in-store employees and managers with any Paycom troubleshooting.
- Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with the greater HR team and GM to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions
- Support any other special projects as needed
