Cardiovascular/Peripherovascular Physician Assistant/NP, 12-hr Nights

The Physician Assistant is responsible for providing in hospital coverage for Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular surgical patients at both The Heart Center of Indiana and St.Vincent Hospital on the 86th Street campus. On-call surgeon and ! anesthesiologist are available to assist with any issues. Non-! operative responsibilities involve all aspects of care (ICU, telemetry, etc) as well as bedside procedures (ie. chest tube, art line and central line placement, emergent sternotomy, swan ganz adjustment).
We are seeking an additional provider to join our current team of 2. They share the schedule - variable shifts from 8p-8a.
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensure to practice as a PA or NP in the State of Indiana.
Cardiac surgery experience
Experience working with ICU/critical care and/or cardiovascular patient populations
