The Certified Surgical Technician performs independently assigned surgical procedures and preparations as directed by the Cha! rge Nurse in conjunction with the activities of the total surgical team. The Certified Surgical Technician assists surgeons, nurses and anesthesiologists as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduation from a Certified Surgical Technician/Technologist program plus a minimum of one year intra-operative experience
• Surgical Technician/Technologist certification upon hire or within 45 days of start date
• Current BLS certification

** Looking for a candidate that c an alternate scrubbing between cases with current CST and perform tech duties when not scrubbed.
