Description: Community Healthcare System is looking of Registered Nurse (RN) right now, this occupation will be ordered in Indiana. High School Diploma or Equivalent Required RN Required 1 year experience preferred Provides direct patient care to patients (pediatric through adult) in the GI Lab in support of medical care as directed by the medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of Community Hospital. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Communicates with the gastroenterologist and/or the anesthesiologist as needed about the patient’s condition. Assists with procedures. Maintains equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Provides emergency care to cover 24 hours per day. Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current license by the IN State Board of Nursing. Continuing education provided through in-services. Prefer RN’s with previous medical surgical experience. Must complete CPR, ACLS, PALS.
