Your tasks & responsibilities:
Co-ordinate efficient operation a group of outbound team members.- Ensure procedures are documented & followed.
- Plan and co-ordinate labor in accordance with forecast & DL target.
- Monitor daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, Kronos timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
- Work together with colleague supervisors from logistic departments.
- Provide back up and support to the Manager.
- Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
- Monitor staff performance, (including time-keeping, quality, productivity) and costs within the department.
- Address training need for employees to the Manager.
Your profile:
Works in a day shift, however it is flexible regarding times and weekend days when required.- Excellent knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office. Knowledge or adapt to multi disciplines of departments, such as shipping and outbound planning.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexible in changing priorities.
- Openness and honesty are also part of your personal characteristics. You can underpin your own vision and are curious for the opinions and feedback of others.
- Good communication skills in English and Dutch and can build up relationships and act as a mentor.
About the Role
How you will contribute
- Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
- Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.
- Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents.
- Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.
- Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material.
- Other duties as assigned.
