Description: Spring Mill is in need of Coordinator-Surgery Center Patient Relations right now, this position will be situated in Indiana. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate scheduling of all perioperative procedures and ensuring optimal utilization of operating room suites. Accountable for oversight and education of scheduling staff. Provides functional guidance to physician offices, anesthesiologists, surgeons and operating room staff on issues related to scheduling of operative procedures.

Requires ability to lead work groups; promote teamwork and build effective business relationships.
Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Requires knowledge of insurance verification including certify coverage; pre-approval; etc.
Requires strong customer service focus.
Requires ability to apply the organization and OR policies and procedures.
Requires ability to explain instructions in simple terminology.
Requires organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Requires knowledge of computer systems and various software applications.
Requires initiative and ability to work independently.
Requires knowledge of outside regulating agencies' standards in order to assist in departmental compliance.
