Under the direction of the Operating Room Clinical Leader, a licensed RN in the Operating Room will assume the responsiblity and accountability for the direct and indirect implementation of the patient's plan of ! care in the Perioperative setting. This position is responsible for directing and coordinating members of the care team, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards. Circulating RN's assist surgeons during operations and are responsible for communication and education of sugical patients and their families in making sure that the patient receives optimal care in Perioperative setting. As a member of the surgical team, the RN Circulator in the Operating Room will assist surgeons and anesthesiologists while he/she works as a member of the surgical team.
Position is full time, 1.0 FTE. Hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:00a to 3:30p. Includes our comprehensive benefit package.
Required Experience:
Professional & Technical Skills - Experience gained through an approved School of Nursing plus an appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care area and to personnel. BSN! . OR Experience, On call Required. Need ACLS, PALS after hire.! Indiana RN License.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
