12-hr Nights
In this position youll be responsible for providing in hospital coverage for Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular surgical patients at both The Heart Center of Indiana and St.Vincent Hospital on the 86th Street campus. On-call surgeon and anesthesiologist are available to assist with any issues. Non-operative responsibilities involve all aspects of care (ICU, telemetry, etc) as well as bedside procedures (ie. chest tube, art line and central line placement, emergent sternotomy, swan ganz adjustment).
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Physi! cian Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Current IN P! A or NP license
Cardiac surgery experience
Experience working with ICU/critical care and/or cardiovascular patient populations
