Description: Vista Health is currently interviewing Nurse Practitioner-The Orthopedic Hospital right now, this vacancy will be situated in Indiana. Work collaboratively with Orthopaedic Surgeons, Hospitalists, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Anesthesiologists and other Physicians, Nursing staff, Admi! nistration, along with ancillary directors and staff to improve the clinical outcomes and processes of care for patients undergoing Orthopaedic surgery. Assist in creating tools, forms, order sets, and processes to optimize medical evaluation of patients presenting for surgery. Assist in formulating order sets and pathways to improve clinical decision making to manage acute and chronic medical problems in the Perioperative period. Supports the mission and vision of the hospital by providing leadership to the Orthopedic Surgery service line and includes providing suggestions for system enhancements towards improvement of clinical outcomes and patient experience.

If credentialed under other guidelines, the NP must be able to attain certification and re-certification as an Adult, Family or geriatric NP; minimal educati! onal preparation under this arrangement is the Bachelor of Sci! ence degree in Nursing. Certfications/Licenses: Must possess a current State of Indiana Nursing registration.
Must have current certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience: Minimum three years of general Nurse Practitioner experience. At least one year of critical care experience preferred. Experience with Internal Medicine and Cardiology preferred.
